I bought a 2.1 v6 petrol X-type the other day (privately) and the Engine Management Light has come on. It stays on permanently but the car is not in limp mode. While I'm driving the car there is hesitation/spluttering up through the rev range particular under heavy acceleration through the mid rev range.
